On March 22, Leah Crocetto travels to Budapest, joining the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Hungarian Radio Choir at Müpa’s Béla Bartók National Concert Hall for Verdi’s powerful Messa di Requiem. The work has become a signature for the soprano, whose “supple” performance has been lauded for its “Italianate bite” (Broad Street Review). She has previously performed the Requiem at Opera Philadelphia, the LA Philharmonic, the San Diego Symphony, Austin Opera, and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, among others.

Crocetto sings the soprano solo under the baton of Riccardo Frizza, joining a quartet that includes mezzo-soprano Szilvia Vörös, tenor Piero Pretti, and bass Gábor Bretz.
