On November 10, Leah Crocetto will take center stage as she debuts the role of Elvira in a concert performance of Verdi’s Ernani with the North Carolina Opera. She will be joined by Giorgio Berrugi as Ernani, Andrew Manea as Don Carlo, and Anthony Robin Schneider as Don Ruy Gomez de Silva, alongside Isabella Stollenmaier as Giovanna, Johnathan Stanford White as Don Riccardo, and Coleridge Nash as Jago. Jakob Lehmann will conduct the company’s premiere of this operatic gem.

Ernani is a passionate tale set in 16th-century Spain, where the noblewoman Elvira is torn between her love for the outlaw Ernani and a political alliance with the powerful Don Carlo. As honor, betrayal, and ambition collide, the opera leads to a tragic and intense conclusion. Be sure not to miss this one-night-only opportunity to experience Verdi’s masterpiece live!
