Leah Crocetto makes her greatly anticipated return to the Metropolitan Opera as the title role of Verdi’s Aida on May 13 & 18. A signature role for Ms. Crocetto, her portrayal of the captive Ethiopian princess at Opera Australia garnered critical acclaim with Bachtrack saying:

“Singing Aida with a beautiful richness and control was powerfully-voiced American soprano Leah Crocetto. Her interpretation of “O patria mia” in Act 3 was the highlight of the performance, bringing a freshness and intensity that was deeply moving.”

Ms. Crocetto shares the stage with a star studded cast, including Olesya Petrova as Amneris, Marcelo Álvarez as Radamès, George Gagnidze as Amonasro, Christian Van Horn as Ramfis, Krzysztof Bączyk as The King.
