Leah Crocetto will star in Toledo Opera’s 2021-2022 opening production of Il trovatore as the tragic character of Leonora, marking her highly anticipated house debut. A signature of Ms. Crocetto’s, she has sung the role in opera houses worldwide, including Seattle Opera, Oper Frankfurt, and Opéra National de Bordeaux.

This searing tale of jealousy and secret romance will take place at the Valentine Theatre on October 8 and 10. Leah will share the stage with Carl Tanner as Manrico, Deborah Nansteel as Azucena, and Kyle Pfortmiller as Count di Luna. The opera will be conducted by Adam Turner and directed by Jeffrey Buchman.
