On July 15, 19, 23, 25, 28 and 30, Leah Crocetto reprises the role of Leonora in Il trovatore with Opera Australia at the Sydney Opera House. This will be the first time the popular Verdi opera has been presented by Opera Australia in nearly ten year and will showcase a visionary new staging by director Davide Livermore. Using technological elements including digital screens, this production will be brought to life by set designer Giò Forma, costume designer Gianluca Falaschi, lighting designer John Rayment and digital content designer D-Wok.

Sharing the stage with Ms. Crocetto will include Yonghoon Lee as Manrico, Elena Gabouri as Azucena, Maxim Aniskin as Count di Luna, David Parkin as Ferrando, Sian Sharp as Inez, Iain Henderson as Ruiz, Luke Gabbedy as Old Gypsy and Thomas Strong as Messenger. Andrea Battistoni conducts these performances.
