Michigan Opera Theatre’s 49th season begins on October 12 with a spectacular concert featuring Leah Crocetto, Michael Fabiano and Rodrick Dixon. For this extraordinary opening event, these artists will join the Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra to perform beloved works from the opera and musical theater repertoire.

She then stars at the Washington National Opera from October 26 – November 15, launching the new season with Verdi’s monumental retelling of Shakespeare’s masterpiece, last staged by WNO nearly 20 years ago. A powerhouse cast assembles to perform some of opera’s most demanding vocals, featuring Leah Crocetto as Desdemona, Russell Thomas in the title role and George Gagnidze as Iago.
