House debut at Seattle Opera in Verdi’s ‘Aida’

Leah Crocetto makes her debut at Seattle Opera next season, in the title role of Verdi’s Aida. Ms. Crocetto sings the role on May 5, 11, 16 & 19, 2018 in the Francesca Zambello-directed production she first performed to great acclaim this season at San Francisco Opera:

“If there is a star for this current production it is SFO protégé Leah Crocetto who offered a very sweetly sung Aida, and succeeded in projecting the beauties of the Italian language in an intimate “Ritorna vincitor” …” (Opera Today)

Leah reunites with co-star Brian Jagde as Radamès, in a cast that also includes Miljiana Nikolic as Amneris and Gordon Hawkins as Amonasro, with conductor John Fiore.
